It is one of my brilliant and sweet attempt to get a lovely friend a gift for her upcoming wedding. I thought something educational will do the trick. Hehe.

My partner in crime and myself ended up looking for a specifically graphic and pictorial Kama Sutra book as the main choice of the gift. In vain hope that we will get something as good as those Kama Sutra books back in Landmark book shops in India. Dang, they sure have loads of selections back there.

We came close to the Family and Relationship Section of the store but we didn’t find anything at all and because we kinda like rushing to get it done with and the hell with sheer embarrassment we proudly asked the pitiful young lad behind the Enquiry counter this exact question, “Excuse me, do you have any Kama Sutra books in here?” . So he listened and he typed at his search key for something Kama Sutra. After a few seconds, the reply was,” We don’t have any of these books here.” I gave him that I can’t believe this place kinda look.

Being exceptionally nice, he asked again. “What is this book about?”. Hahaha. I was like what the fuck am I going to say to this kid. The kid is ultra innocent alright! Goodness! My answer was brief and quick,” You know … something got to do with relationship. Maybe you can tell us which section we can look for this kind of book”.
Then the kid asked again. “How do you spell Kama Sutra?” OMG! He bloody has no idea what the hell he is dealing with and he’s like working in a book store and he is a teenage kid who supposedly should be well exposed about these things by his age.So pure and innocent! LOL!

Finally, we simply went back to the Family and Relationship section , where we initially landed at and found nothing good enough. There was one book but it’s damn pricey and so not worth the money. I thought my Sex for Dummy e-book is way better. Anyways, we were already giving up on getting my friend this Kama Sutra book when out of the blue, an Indian man, who looked like another person from the book shop suddenly came walking to both of us and handed me a book and said,” I think this is what you are looking for”. I took the book in hand and bloody hell it wrote there “Kama Sutra …”! LOL!

Surprised and utterly gawking, we were thinking, how the hell does this guy knows that we are looking for this book? Did the kid told his superior about our little search for Kama Sutra? LOL!How much more embarrassing can this get?

Anyways, at the end of the day, I simply settled for my last resort signature wedding gift which is a nice card with a hidden angpow.It’s the last thing I can really come up with if you people don’t tell me what do you want for your wedding. I don’t do album or photo frames or china sets for gifts because I don’t want for the newly weds to be getting the same type of gifts from everyone. That’s sucky and gifts are suppose to be special isn’t it?

Oh well not to worry anymore. This will be my last wedding invitation for this year. Phew ain’t gift hunting tiring! Angpow is the best-est gift of all. And yea, it’s Yasz’s Signature Wedding Gift alright!
