I’m running out of creative juices for today, hence I’m letting you guys feast on some of my pictures while attempting some beginners Par 3 golfing over at Wetland – Clearwater Sanctuary Golf Resort located at Batu Gajah, a mere half an hour or so from Ipoh, Perak. This wetland sanctuary was once the filming location of the movie “Anna and the King”. Most of the filming props have been taken down but this course has a really beautiful fairway and green, what more with a great ambiance of a true wetland environment.

The green fees for this Par 3 Wetland course is RM 30 for a 1-9 game. If you come in a flight of three, you get to pay RM 20/pax. Meanwhile, if you are looking for the real deal, 18 holes course, head on to the main golf course for a great and fun golfing experience. Enough said and let’s just move on to the pictures. 8th hole for the Par 3 course at Wetland Clearwater Sanctuary.One of the best views and most challenging hole because you have to tee off and hope the ball will cross over the lake.

Myself with the clubs failed miserably to tee off over the lake. Hence I resorted to snapping some pictures.

More lotus plants as you cross the path towards the green

If you are lucky, you can catch a sight of the local beaver rolling around on the green and watching over your balls
